The future of coffee relies in its origins
In the coffee producing countries, between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, different practices aim to serve a common goal: supplying the world with coffee. Many coffee growers have unique knowledge and traditions. In hostile environments, most of them maintain a traditional way of life which result of centuries or even millennia of experience. Indeed, much of the world's production comes from plantations of just a few hectares. By highlighting the values and practices of people, we aim to help maintain and glorify human and natural heritages on the verge of extinction.
Transparency is possible thanks to virtuous economic systems. Café TCHOLOLO creates a direct link between those who produce and those who consume coffee. We connect the two ends of the same story, because we believe that the future of coffee will come from its roots: the plantations. Quality in the cup is the result of a combination of factors in which everyone benefits from knowing and respecting the work of all stakeholders. As a result, growers are delighted to taste their own coffees, and keen to control pre- and post-harvest processing operations.
